CLEANERS
Whenever metals have to be prepared for additional process steps such as pretreatment, they first need to be thoroughly cleaned and degreased. KLT offers a full line of alkaline, acid, and solvent cleaners, which are specially designed for the removal of oils, grease and oxides. These cleaners are suitable for cleaning both ferrous and nonferrous substrates they can be used in spray, immersion, brush -on steam cleaning processes and are suitable at various temperatures.
SURFACE TREATMENT PRODUCTS
KLT supplies Iron Phosphate, and Non-Chromated Phosphate Seal Products. Our Iron Phosphates are available for applications at any temperature, for both ferrous and non-ferrous metal, in soak or spray applications where the work has been cleaned and rinsed, or as detergent Iron Phosphates which both clean and phosphate. The Iron Phosphate coating produced will inhibit the spread of corrosion. Our non-chromated Phosphate Sealers provide paint adhesion and salt spray corrosion protection equaling or surpassing chromated products.
CORROSION INHIBITORS
KLT water and oil based Corrosion/Rust Inhibitors are designed to provide in-plant and outdoor corrosion protection, for both short and long term on all types of metals, and in all types of application. The products are generally applied either in the final rinse or as the final rinse, depending on the product used and will provide either the desired dry or oily film on the work.
METALWORKING FLUIDS
KLT offers a full line of metalworking fluids for cutting, cooling, grinding, rolling, forming, drawing, and stamping. We offer Synthetic, Soluble Oil, and Semi-Synthetic products with EP, anticorrosion, bath life extenders, and biological resistivity additives for working all metals safely and efficiently. These products are environmental friendly and allow recycling and a minimum of waste.
